Using the Revert Card Menu in a standalone.

Is it possible to use the "Revert Card" menu from a button in a standalone app?
If so how would I go about it?
If not, is there a way to achieve the same result with a button script?

Sounds like you are an ex-HyperCard user. SuperCard has native commands for all of the Runtime Editor menus as these menus were created with SuperCard itself. In this case the command is 'revert'.

Code: Select all
on mouseup
  revert
end mouseup

Thanks heaps!
I am indeed a longstanding user of Hypercard, I started when it was first released 8-)

Well… menus are certainly different. In SuperCard, menus and their items are objects in a project (like a button or field). They have properties and scripts, and because what they do is scripted in SuperTalk, there is never a reason for doing a 'do menu'.

You will find all of the Runtime Editor's menu scripts at the bottom of its project script (they all start with m<menuItemName>).
