Color: Clut Index Number access within SuperEdit

In the Runtime Editor ("RTE") or in the runtime editors, "MPI" or "QuickTools", one can easily access the Clut Index Number to use to reference the color of interest in Scripts;

From The SuperCard Language Guide:
"The popup palettes in the Colors section of the Tools palette will indicate the each color’s number as you move the mouse over the colors."

This works only in the RTE, not in SuperEdit (SE) as far as I can see.

This would be a welcome addition when time allows.
