Unexpected Behaviour

Postby JoeKoomen2011 » Sat Apr 22, 2017 2:53 pm

Probably expected behaviour, but unexpected to me. I was creating a tab with various fields etc. The second tab was to have almost the exact same fields etc. so I copied them and hit run. In SuperCard I clicked tab 2 and quit. In superEdit I pasted the stuff I had copied. Everything looked weird. Double-clicking led me to the discovery that everything was now a graphic.

I guess SuperCard and SuperEdit don't share the clipboard - or there is no SC clipboard except the system's in the transition between the operation of the two?

Yes, as you've surmised SC and SE can only share data via the Carbon desk scrap. Whenever they're switched out, they translate everything on their private scraps to standard scrap flavors (in this case, graphics) and stick them on the public scrap.
