b30 SuperEdit Restart repeat loop

Postby JoeKoomen2011 » Wed Dec 27, 2017 1:43 pm

I crashed while using SuperEdit. Every time I've tried to launch SE after the crash, it tries to reopen the crashed projects that I was editing. Since one was corrupt, I deleted it, but SE locks up while looking for it. Is there a prefs file I can delete to stop this behaviour? I've reinstalled Beta 30 completely but it's still happening.

Fixed.

I hid the other SC project in a different folder and on relaunch SE stopped looking for both files.

If the problem is what I think it is, then the file of interest is likely ~/Library/Preferences/us.SuperCard.SE480.plist.

You can either delete it outright (which will reset all app-wide prefs to their default values) or else manually set the value of all the plist keys that start with 'tran' to 0.

I'll let you know if I encounter it again, but frankly, SuperEdit rarely ever crashes. The incident I reported is probably the only time I've had SE crash in literally years.
