How to change a button number?

Postby drpitcairn » Mon Dec 28, 2009 2:24 pm

I opened SE for the first time, was able to get to the card I wanted but could not figure out how to change the number of a button on the card. It is a bg button so maybe that the problem? I tried accessing the bg and so on but still could not do it.
Any hints?

Thanks,
Richard

Hi Richard

The top four items in SuperEdit's "Arrange" menu are
Send to Back
Bring to Front
Shuffle Back
Shuffle Forward.

Card or background objects are numbered from back (number 1) to front (whatever the highest number is, depending on how many buttons, fields, graphics).

So you can change the number of a particular button by selecting it and then using one of those menu items, or the equivalent key combination, to move it backwards -- decreasing the number -- or forwards -- increasing the number.
