Xcode 7 XFcn proj

Here is where the magnanimous folks that create externals post them (.zip archives only please).

Xcode 7 XFcn proj

This should let you avoid having to work through Xcode 7's nightmare-from-hell UI for setting prefs.

If you run into problems, let me know...

EDIT: IGNORE THIS POST

Before trying anything of my own I decided to just compile your example.

1. It compiled OK.

2. I ignored the warning to update settings.

3. I used this to load it

Code: Select all
put projectPath(this project) & "Eval.bundle" into bundlePath
load external bundlePath

4. Everything seemed OK at this point

5. I tested it with a button
Code: Select all
on mouseUp
put Eval("2 + 2")
end mouseUp

6. It crashed as in all other cases I have previously tried

Am I still missing something?

All the best

Terry

Mark,

Success, I have identified my problem, it was because I had been messing about with

SuperXCmd.h

Please ignore my other posts.

Can now start to play.

I have been using your example to good effect and have now tried to implement my old FMDB sqlite wrapper in Xcode 7.

It has worked but I get this error.

"_NSRunAlertPanel", referenced from:
_main in main.o
ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture i386
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)

I get a similar error even if I use NSBeep()

Could you point me in the right direction?

Did you add the Cocoa framework to the project?

Yes,

At a loss, I'll keep looking in the forest for a tree.

SysBeep(1) works fine.

On a second look through the forest, no I didn't.

Thanks for the reminder.
