It is essential.

If it isn't going to be wrapped into the functionality of the developer edition of SC, at least make it cheap. Or reasonable. One or the other. ;-)

To be fair, the above util seems to do little more than save you from typing two commands in Terminal. A lot more work went into the tool we built.

Forgive me trying to be precise, are you saying it will NOT be possible to upload to the app store without using your utility?

Thanks

For precision's sake… upload is probably the wrong word to use here. Approval is what you're looking for, and you will not receive it for a SaM made standalone.

I can assure you, that RB Package Maker Studio does a lot more than what you can do with two commands in the Terminal ;) Among a lot of functions it manages all 27 Apple Entitlement Keys for Sandboxing.
And yes, the price is great :D
However, it is mainly targeted to Real Studio developers.
If someone here wants to try it with SuperCard, let me know.

OK, yes my words were incorrect so I will rephrase.

It is clear, if I understand correctly, that one cannot gain approval for a SCApp that has been built with SaM.

But, is it possible to modify that app so it will gain approval without using your utility?

All the best

I stand corrected. Thanks for pointing that out.

I don't think so.

If someone here wants to try it with SuperCard, let me know.

Since it is targeted at RB Studio apps, how could it work with Supercard?

Straight answer: I don't know :)
But we can check it, if someone sends me a 'Stand Alone' Super Card Test App.
I can give a better feedback based on looking into it.

I'd expect you'd be well-advised to buy SuperCard first and read the license.
