F8 will not work for me.

Here's where to discuss using Stéphane Leys' very well done alternative runtime editor. If you're a control freak at runtime you have to check this out!

F8 will not work for me.

When I press the F8 key, a dialog window comes up asking me to find a file in the Application Support folder of the root hard disk. It asks for "Supercard 4.6.3:SC pouch:modules:Find text module". But I don't find such a file in that folder. So is there something that did not install?

The Find text module doesn't exist any more, I merged it with the Find module. But it remained in your preferences.
- Open MPI preferences from the File menu
- Click tab 2 "modules sets"
- In the "sets" list at the right, in the F8 set, you'll find the Find text module
- Drag it to the trash at the botright of the preferences palette.
