How to "subscribe" to forums and/or forum topics

This new forum does not send individual or digest emails out to members like the old Yahoo Group did. Instead you can subscribe to topics or entire forums to receive an email with a link to the topic when a new post is made. Note that you must register for an account to be able to subscribe to forums and topics. Registration is quick and easy; and your information is not disclosed to anyone online unless you specifically include it in your profile settings.

Once registered, you will see a "Subscribe Forum" link (or a subscribe topic link) in the bottom blue bar of any forum or topic that you are browsing. Clicking this link will automatically subscribe you to the forum or topic you are in. You will also notice the link will change to "Unsubscribe Forum" (or topic) once you have subscribed. Clicking this link will then unsubscribe you from the forum or topic.

But there is another way to turn off any subscriptions you may have set up; and that is via your User Control Panel. You will see a link for this in the light blue bar at the top of the forum window. This link allows you access to a variety of account settings to customize your account.

To delete any subscriptions, click the "Manage Subscriptions" item from the "Overview" tab. Then simply click on the checkboxes in the "MARK" column for the subscriptions you wish to turn off and click the "Unwatch marked" button. That is all there is to it.

Can someone who does not yet own SuperCard subscribe to the SC User Forum ?

If so, what URL should they go to, in order to register ?

Registering and subscribing are two different things. You must be registered in order to subscribe to any forums or topics, otherwise how would the forums know where to send the e-mail.

Anyone can register by clicking the register link in the light gray header near the top right of a page. Of course you won't see this link if you are already logged in.

Yay Problem fixed Now I can see both "active topics" and "your posts" again
