Looks like we're approaching a birthday.

According to the members list, Scott started the board on Sat Jul 05, 2008 4:37 pm...

So, umm... Fearless Leader... Are you throwing a party that weekend? Beer and burgers? Cake and ice cream? I'm sure we could find a clown among us to make balloon animals.

I guess for those of us in The States it would be "Yeah... just go down to your local city or county park. We got fireworks and everything." :P
My two favorite teams are Detroit and whoever's playing Chicago.

Well, even bigger than the anniversary of the SC Forum is the 20th anniversary of Supercard itself. It was originally released in 1989, but I can't remember exactly when. At the time I think I was at Ft Bragg, and although fuzzy, I think I got it in the fall. It would be nice to know the official release date, so we can mark the date. Maybe someone who is still in contact with Christopher Watson, or any members of the original team, could learn the official release date.

Otherwise, I think we should arbitrarily celebrate sometime.

Yes... we'll be doing fireworks at Lake Tahoe! ;)

Seriously... a new look is underway but I doubt it will be done in time.

I'm sure we could find a clown among us to make balloon animals.

If you're talking about George Bush... he is not invited.

Interesting choice. I lived there for 12 years, viewed Harrah's-sponsored fireworks show more than once from the top of Mt Tallac (bundle up if you go, it gets really cold up there :) ). Also watched it from the air once. From the middle of the lake at altitude you can see fireworks at South shore, North shore, Carson City, and Reno. The reflections at the lake were very cool.
All the best,
Ken N.
