account protection

Scott, when you recommend this:
1.) Don't run your everyday account with admin privileges; set up a separate admin account with a strong password for when you need it. Think long and hard about the source of things asking for admin privileges before granting them.

does it mean moving most files into the non-admin account?

You don't need to move a thing.

You set up a new admin account, and then remove admin privileges from your existing account.
