SetObjectInfo conflicts when ink is set to alpha

Postby mrBean » Thu Dec 02, 2010 8:58 pm

i'm trying to change the rect of a graphic that's ink is set to alpha. but the SetObjectInfo is coming back with an error. the external works with other objects so far, just not this graphic when the ink is set to alpha. i'm new to writing externals, so if this is an old issue, i'm sorry.

I tested out why the ink being set to alpha causes problems using the GetSetObjInfo project in the IT_Sample_Projects folder. when the ink is set to alpha, alphaWhite, or alphaBlack — mode comes back empty. if i try to set it i get this error, "Bad mode param". is there anything i can do to prevent this or is there a work around?

This is the result of some old range-checking code in the IT not knowing about the newer alpha ink modes. I'll fix it...
