Error in Standalone Maker config file

Postby komouton » Wed Feb 24, 2016 8:25 am

Standalone Maker 4.73 in Mavericks 10.9.5

I set "Dev Region" option under "Version" tab to "Other..." and typed "Japanese" in the box.

When saving the config file, Standalone Maker says:

SuperTalk Error Number 19:
Expected end of line but found something else.

and the config file becomes broken. The config file can never open.

Why? and is there any solution?

This is a bug in Standalone Maker. Until the next version, you can work around the issue by building with one of the preset regions, and then editing the string for the 'CFBundleDevelopmentRegion' key in the 'info.plist' that is in the package.

And in the meantime if you want to get your borked make file working again, try this:

Code: Select all
on mouseUp
answer file "Select a make file:" of type "ACFG"
if it = "" then exit script
  put it into theFile
  open file theFile
read from file theFile until eof
  write replace(it, "…", "") to file theFile
  close file theFile
  launch theFile
end mouseUp
