B32 Button Type Segmented

Postby sctell » Thu May 03, 2018 2:56 am

I think this applies to earlier versions but this button type does not appear to be a Standard Apple control.

Are the colours incorrect and is there anything that can be done about it?

See image below.

Code: Select all
 err = HISegmentedViewCreate(&hr, (HIViewRef *)&control);

I presume you are telling me it's a Carbon thing and it has not been updated to reflect the more up to date colour schemes.

I presume therefore it is not possible to change the colours of the background/foreground or text?

I had a quick look for details online but nothing came up that I could see.

It actually looks ghastly when compared to the up to date interfaces and so is pretty useless.

I'm to polite for that :lol:

Clearly it's not aimed at SC, rather Apple, they have moved on and left Carbon totally unsupported and updates have long gone so the legacy controls clearly don't look correct with the "modern look".
