Boolean parameter passed as text to AppleScript

Postby PhotoGraphex » Tue May 15, 2018 2:17 pm

It seems that when I try pass a boolean parameter to AppleScript, AppleScript interprets it as a text chunk.

For instance with the function :

appleScript(file,FilePathVariable,"SomeHandler",FirstTextParamVariable,BooleanParamVariable)

AppleScript will return “FALSE” to <BooleanParamVariable is TRUE> when BooleanParamVariable is TRUE

For the moment my workaround is <BooleanParamVariable = "TRUE"> when BooleanParamVariable is TRUE to have AppleScript to consider it as TRUE.

Any ideas?
